.lift off.

when we were ready to reveal our baby's gender, it was on the very day we found out ourselves. i had already acquired two really big balloons; one in blue and one in pink. my idea was to use them in the reveal, but had no idea how. my eye guy and i went through a variety of ideas. mine were simple and his involved burning strings and exploding balloons and the like.

we settled on simply releasing the color of the gender we were not having and holding tight to the one we were. to capture and share the moment, we had the process recorded and photographed to later show our friends and family.
